ePub 3, iOS Apps, Android Apps and mobile web Apps will boom in 2012

We have almost completed first Q of 2012 and nothing interesting seen in mLearning space. mLearning delivery methods and industry consolidation is underway and you will see dramatic change in mLearning market landscape in remaining Qs. Why am i telling this?

2012 will be the year of ePub 3, iOS Apps, Android Apps and mobile web Apps after consolidation. Rebert (OnPoint Corp) indicated the same in his report in early Jan 2012. I have personally met industry people to gauge his predictions on mLearning market. He has wonderful understanding of mLearning Landscape. You must read his report to know some realistic facts.

I would like to add one point here that ePub 3 and Apps can be used together to deliver the best user experience. Organizations are working on tools to create Apps from ePub 3.

It's a beginning of engaged users in learning space...........

Braahmam Net Solutions Pvt Ltd, A growing ePublishing service company participated in Global Local 2011, New Delhi. This event was organized by German Book Office, New Delhi to understand market trends of publishing domain.
Industry experts exchanged their view with respect to ePublishing content. The focus of the event was to put some light on future of ePublshing. The Publishers were eager to know methods of reducing cost of production. Innovative technology in this space has given some hope but it is still on higher side of cost barometer. Society, publisher and government must collectively take some measures to adapt this change in content production cycle.
The audience reacted positively to this event and shared their experiences about the content. We have reached to a point where we have to adopt or reject this change in content production cycle. Obvious answer is to take the advantage of technology and emerging hardware. Who is going to be the most popular is still unanswered?

He asked that "Will eBook market be growing outside the American continent?". The answer was "It is unpredictable but it growing outside America".

Braahmam’s Frankfurt Book Fair 2011 Visit

Braahmam Net solutions Pvt. Ltd is a pioneer company in localization, ePublishing  and eLearning. The company is serving its customers from last 11 years. Braahmam is exploring its services and offers data conversion & ePublishing as well.

In continuation to its journey, Braahmam exhibited in Frankfurt Book Fair 2011 from Oct 12, 2011 to Oct 16, 2011. I was fortunate member of this visit to Frankfurt. This fair is one of the oldest & famous book for trade visitors as well service providing companies worldwide.

Frankfurt Book Fair is a huge fair attracting trade visitors from almost every country. It was pleasure to meet representatives of world famous publishers and understanding their needs. eBooks were main attraction of the fair this year and in 2010. We saw a small change in eBook industry this year. People were waiting to see their eBooks in EPUB 3.0 and were more inclined towards interactivity of eBooks. Few people asked us for Apps instead of simple eBooks.

You can locate almost every famous publisher in this fair. Publishing Service Company like Braahmam was eager to meet publishers for Digital Publishing requirements. We received good response from this book fair and invited for Frankfurt book fair 2012. We recommend publishing service company to visit this fair every year. This Book fair has huge potential for growing ePublishing companies.

Mr. Biraj Rath (CEO Braahmam Net Solutions) and Anjula (Business Development) had some fruitful meetings with some big names of publishing industry. Our team was focused to address customer’s query so that they walked out with the solution.

It will be injustice if I will not talk about the city and the people of Frankfurt. Frankfurt is a beautiful city influenced by typical European architecture. I was impressed to see such a clean city and wonderful public transportation. The climate was bit cool for us. The temperature was around 10 degree Celsius. We all enjoyed cool pleasant weather of Frankfurt. Generally the people of Frankfurt speak in German but they understand English as well. They were very helpful.

In the end, we hope that we generate some business from this visit and will visit Frankfurt in 2012.

Digitization of content will change the face of publishing Industry

You can see a young lad reading content on his ipad/iphone. Nobody thinked of this dramatic change in learning. Technological advancment made it possible to collaborate various technologies and provide easiest method of learning. Many of us had completed our education by spending lots of time with printed books. Publishers provided the best possible content in your interest area. Now things are quite different, you can access the web and can download mobile apps or different ebook formats depending upon your need. People are now synchronised their learning to hand held devices they own. People wants everything on their mobile phones or other hand held devices.
We all know, Demands push us to invent a new way. Here we are with new genaration solutions in the form of  Apps and ebooks. Internet and new devices made a new world around us. This new world has endless possibilities to intract and learn from others.
Publishers were pushed to adapt this new change in the learning world. Companies had started providing digitization services to the publisher. Now, the publisher can transform its content to digital ebook format. User of this digital ebook content and market demand forced publishers to convert their old content into digital ebook format.
Internation Digital Publishing Forum provided a guideline for ebook formats. It was released as ePub 2.0 standards. The ebook formats are very popular in today's publishing market. You can not claim that publishers are not planning to move on digital publishing platform.

Global work force Vs Translation Industry

Can you imagine existence of global work force without uniform communication medium? Of cource, you can't. Communication is two way process. A person approaching another person in different language. What will happen? Is it possible make this communication seamless. What is needed? We need a translation facility if communicating persons belong to different geographical regions. People are understanding the need of language translation in the age of Internet. Translation Industry will come into the picture if you are crossing geographical region or mother language teritory. Project Manager Vs Product Manager

Product Manager and Project Manager enter in the product development at the same time. Project Manager serves as Mother of the product and Product Manager serves as legal father of the product. Product Manager can't be a legal father unless he/she has approval from Senior Management.
